Our room-only boutique hotel, is an elegant and intimate Georgian townhouse, with seven stylishly designed rooms combining the charm of period architecture and contemporary comfort.
Boasting a choice of single, doubles (additional Z bed on request) and a family suite. Hypnos mattresses, bathrobes, complimentary welcome tray and gorgeous Laura Thomas toiletries help create a sense of comfort. Stay connected with our superfast Wi-Fi (speeds up to 500mps), and streaming TV’s.

The Broughton Townhouse is perfectly situated for exploring Edinburgh’s iconic landmarks and shopping destinations. Princes St and Waverley Train Station are just a short stroll away, whilst the most convenient tram stop from the airport is located at Picardy Place, only a two minute walk downhill to our hotel.
A 25-minute walk will take you to the world-famous Edinburgh Castle, while the Royal Mile, the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, is only 15 minutes on foot. Here you can amble down to the bottom of the Royal Mile where you can discover the delight of Holyrood Palace, the official residence of the monarch in Scotland.
And for an architectural contrast, sitting opposite the palace is the Enric Miralles designed Scottish Parliament building finished in 2004.
An array of fantastic restaurants to suit all tastes, and luxury shopping are to be found close to us.
For those wishing to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia, it’s a quick 15-minute tram ride to Leith, Edinburgh’s old port district, which is worthy of an afternoon’s sightseeing.
